WORTHINGTON —A lockdown of approximately two hours Wednesday at Worthington High School brought Worthington police officers to the building, District 518 Superintendent John Landgaard said Thursday.

“We did have a lockdown at the high school due to a potential threat,” Landgaard said in an email. “The police were called to assist with the situation in which they did an investigation. They found that no immediate threat existed, even though a threat was reported to the assistant principal.”
