Margie Coffee Willardson Coder - Born December 28th, 1921 in Ocheydan. Iowa. Died February 12th in Edmonds, WA. Margie lived a long, full and happy life. She married Marion Willardson on May 13th, 1939 in Jackson, Minnesota. They had two children and Spent 59 great years together until Marion’s Death in 1998.
In 1957 the family left the farm near Round Lake, Minnesota and moved to Renton, Washington. Margie stayed in Renton most of her life until a few months ago when her health started to fail and moved North to be closer to family. Margie spent her working years in the medical profession. She worked at the old Renton Hospital and for a number of physicians in the Renton area. After retirement she volunteered in the nursery and flower shop at Valley Medical Center in Renton. In 2001 Margie met George Coder at a senior’s event and it was love at first sight. In April 2002 they got married and enjoyed ten great years together going out dancing at least once a week, doing road trips across the country, going on cruises and two trips to Hawaii.
Margie is survived by her Husband George, Sons Marlyn and Steve, two stepsons, Three grandsons, seven great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and step great grand children. There will be a family celebration of Margie’s life this summer in the Washington Cascades where she has requested her remains be scattered.
