ST. CLAIR — Jon Harmening racked up 30 points to go along with 18 rebounds to power the Jackson County Central Huskies to a 72-61 win over St. Clair Thursday.
The Huskies opened up the first have with lights-out shooting to take a 44-26 lead into the locker room at halftime. But St. Clair clawed its way back into the game by hitting multiple 3s in the second to close the gap.
Taylor Christopher led the team in assists with eight while picking up 13 points as well. Darnell Taylor-Breck scored 11 points and added six rebounds for the Huskies, while Shadrack Wacker rounded out the scoring with seven points to go with six assists in the game.
Ryan Kruse had a team-high 27 points for St. Clair.
Jackson County Central (14-9) hosts Blue Earth Tuesday in its last regular season game of the year before the section playoffs.

WINDOM — Collin Lovell led the Windom Area Eagles with 12 points in a loss to the Martin County West Thursday.
The Eagles trailed by nine at halftime and were unable to stop the Martin County West offense from scoring 47 more points in the second half.
Nathan Remmers was second on the team in scoring with 11 points for Windom Area to go along with five rebounds. Andy Pfeffer was the only other Eagle in double-digits with 10 points on the night, while Trenton Bever picked up five rebounds.
Cordell Weber scored a game-high 29 points to lead Martin County West in the win.
The Eagles (12-10) travel to Marshall today to take on the Tigers in a Southwest Conference matchup.

TYLER – Putting five players in double figures, the high-powered Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights rolled to a 20-point win over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton in a Camden Conference South regular-season boys’ basketball game.
Dylan Kor scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Knights (24-1, 14-0) to their 16th straight victory, while Brett Peterson (14), Brett Vercruysse (12), Shay Wabeke (11) and Newt Dunblazier (10) also notched double digits.
Vercruysse and Dunblazier had eight and seven rebounds, respectively for R-T-R, while both Wabeke and Dunblazier dished off four assists.
Josh Kirk scored 18 points to lead the Panthers, who trailed by just five points at halftime.
Parker Lanoue tallied 10 points for T-M-B (6-16, 4-9), while Matt Lavoy (three assists, two blocks) and Kirk claimed nine and eight rebounds, respectively.
R-T-R plays north champion Dawson-Boyd (18-4, 11-3) at Dawson tonight for the conference championship.
T-M-B finishes its season with a non-conference game at Redwood Valley Monday.
