ST. PAUL – While still early in the 2013 Legislative Session, District 22 A Rep. Joe Schomacker, R-Luverne, is seeking opinions on several of the proposals he is likely to vote on before the session adjourns in May.
“Lawmakers are often asked to vote on many important and controversial issues, and as your state representative, it is vital that I know how residents feel about these topics so I can best represent their interests at the State Capitol,” Schomacker said in a press release. “One of the best ways the public can share their views is to go online and fill out my 2013 Legislative Survey.”
Schomacker said the easiest way to do this is to visit his official House website at www.house.mn/22A and click on “2013 Legislative Survey.” There will be a handful of questions on topics from potential tax increases to job creation that are likely to receive debate in the coming weeks.
“As we move forward, citizen input on these and other issues will be crucial, which is why I strongly encourage constituents to respond to my questionnaire,” Schomacker said.
