MITCHELL, S.D. — After being named co-Freshman-of-the-Year in the Great Plains Athletic Conference last season, Dakota Wesleyan men’s basketball player Jalen Voss added to his honors by being named to the All-GPAC First Team Wednesday.

Voss, a 6-foot-7 forward from Worthington, is the youngest player to be named to this year’s first team. He led the Tigers in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots during his sophomore campaign, while finishing 10th in scoring in the GPAC and first in the conference.

The Tigers went 14-17 in 2012-2013, which earned them the eight seed in the conference tournament where they fell to Northwestern.
