Letter: Man thankful for assistance after fall

When I took a very nasty fall on the ice while going to my car in the Hy-Vee parking lot recently, the immediate help I received from some of our very caring citizens was simply amazing. People like John Ross, Tom Prins, Christopher Prins and Officer Kirk Schelhaas all helped. People were going to cars and getting blankets to try to keep me warm and calling for help. Tom and Chris even delivered my vehicle to my home. Thanks to all of you.

The trained ambulance professionals and everyone at the emergency room in the hospital were really super, too.

I’m sorry I don’t know the names of everyone who came to my aid, but God does and I thank Him for putting you there. We may live in a cold climate, but we have people with warm and caring hearts. Again, I thank you all.
