LAKEFIELD — The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a rear-end accident at 10:11 a.m. Wednesday on Minnesota 86 at mile marker 17.

The Rock County Tobacco ordinance allows for the sale of nicotine and lobelia delivery devices if they are kept in a locked dispenser behind the counter. The sale of nicotine and lobelia delivery devices were incorrectly listed as illegal in Wednesday’s Daily Globe.

Accidents

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a possible hit-and-run accident reported at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday from Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance, 710 10th St.

LAKEFIELD — The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a rear-end accident at 10:11 a.m. Wednesday on Minnesota 86 at mile marker 17. Brandon W. Davis, 38, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, was driving a Ford Ranger. June B. Omwega, 20, of Windom, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina. Both drivers and a passenger in the Davis vehicle were treated for minor injuries at Windom Area Hospital and released. Both vehicles were a total loss. The Lakefield Police Department, Lakefield Ambulance and Lakefield Fire Department assisted at the scene.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday to 1043 Liberty Drive to assist a male who had fallen.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 6:33 a.m. Wednesday to 1620 Clary St. to assist a woman who had fallen.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 12:36 p.m. Wednesday to 311 13th St. to assist a woman who had fallen.

RUSHMORE — The Rushmore Rescue Squad and Worthington Ambulance were dispatched at 3:57 p.m. Wednesday to 205 First St. to assist a male who had fallen on the ice.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a theft reported at 1:31 p.m. Wednesday from the 1400 block of Knollwood Drive.
