WMS hosts Family Engineering Night

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Middle School sixth grade will host Family Engineering Night from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the school.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Middle School sixth grade will host Family Engineering Night from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the school.

The event will be organized by The Works, a hands-on museum based in Bloomington with a goal of making learning about engineering, science and technology interesting, understandable and fun. Family Engineering Night will include sessions called Silly Putty, Squishy Circuits, Wind Turbines, Crazy Cars and Sound Sandwich. All supplies will be provided for these creative make-and-take activities.

All middle school students and their families are welcome to participate. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
