You're right about Gordy's being on Diagonal Road before John E. I think it was in the building that is the Municipal liquor store now. If my memory is correct it was Farrington's Super Value before it became Gordy's.

Gordy's was on Diagonal Road for about 20 years before moving to Oxford Steet, where the liquor store is. It must have been published wrong five years ago too.
