Nancy G: There is no FARMER representation in the DFL anymore. The new DFL is strictly Mnpls, St. Paul, Mankato and some of the iron range. Look at your statistical map...............Blue in the twin cities, Mankato and iron range and the rest of the state is solid red. LAst time I checked, St, Paul & Mnpls didn't have much "farming" going on! Must be hell being a Dem and going to sleep at nite knowing their future rests in the hands of the most stupid and worthless among us!

Heading in to 2010, House Democrats in particular have a precarious path ahead. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chris Van Hollen warned his colleagues last week at their annual retreat that history is not on their side. Since Abraham Lincoln, only two presidents have not lost seats in the midterm election cycle, with an average loss of 30 seats. ( history is not on their side ) Their OWN said it!

Nancy G.: That's like saying that the democrats and liberal government invented the light bulb and all the small business's and created all the people that invented and drove the free market! All the dems did was TAKE and TAKE to redistribute to punish the rich and give to the poor. And they continue to want MORE big government to not only take but own and decide pay as well now. Great accomplishment right?

Nancy G. - I tend to believe the DFL majority can be credited to the party getting closer to perfecting voter fraud (except for now ACORN got busted, minor set back). Folks on the left really need to re-evaluate what the Dem party has morphed into over the last 10 years. It's certainly not a governing body of the people for the people.

Some of us in rural Minnesota are trying to take our state back from the Twin Cities. For the most part Twin Cities values are much different than out here on the farms and small towns. You might be working very hard to elect your liberal DFL people Nancy G but I assure you I am not.

Some of us have been working for years to 'take our country back' from those that would drive it over the cliff. That's the reason we have a Democratic Majority in the House and Senate, and a Democratic President in the White House. It's why we have a DFL Majority in both bodies in the Minnesota Legislature. The Democratic-FARMER-Labor Party is alive and growing in Minnesota, working to further build our majority of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. And we are working very hard to elect a DFL governor in November 2010.

One of Agriculture's/the farmer's greatest attributes to Minnesota and the United States is their overwhelming support of conservative causes. Ya, there remain a few of the (EXTINCT and no longer qualifying) DFL'ers. But for the most part rural America still stands proud with the values and beliefs of what made this country the greatest of all time. Can we take our country back? It starts in Nov 2010!
