I read some time back that nothing new is being learned by experiments on the international space station. I admit the prospect of people going to Mars is pretty exciting but so costly and dangerous I don't think it is worth it either.

I agree that these space missions are a waste of money. What should happen is those countries that are interested in exploring space should band together and form a group wherein all of the countries pick up an even portion of the price tag. People are starving in this country, we have no jobs, we're in a major economic crisis and the government wants us to get excited about Mars? Get a clue you idiots in Washington.

What good are these space missions? Unless we send up all the so-called-civil rights lawyers, liberal politicians that don't care which direction the United States Of America is going, and the United States Of America's Constitution Haters. Plus the people that allow the United States Of America to be taken and over-ran by illegals.
