If you abuse, terrorize, assault and victimize you should not have children under your guidance and control. Especially if you are not willing to go get help without being court ordered to do so, that is telling about the woman's character. You can see she was just playing games with the system. She is on probation, she will be watched and "her" future choices will have consequences, good or bad, she owns her choices in life. Let's see if she chooses to problem solve without violence. She will pick her destiny... Thank goodness the kids are safe and kept away from her violence. I wonder how many others have suffered from her violence? No one deserves to be hurt or victimized.

To c c.: Did you mean JW must "have" been spacing out..."? I'm fascinated when people make errors while correcting others' errors.

I think everybody is missing the big picture. Another child has been assulted to the point they received broken bones. This seems to be a weekly thing you hear, and they are happening in our own backyards. Yet, all they get for a sentencing is a slap on the wrist. What is wrong with people. You all seem to think just because she worked in a meat packing plant that she can have children. In this case no, but there are many people who work in very respectful jobs that do the same thing. Yet do you sit there and say that they should not have children, no. The steriotyping is getting old. The focus should be how do we get these individuals the proper sentencing they deserve. Animals die because they can't find homes. That not the animal's fault. Yet one who abuses a helpless child gets a slap on the wrist. There is something severly wrong with the way our judicial system, and society operate at time.

Disgusting! 30 days in jail maximum if at all...for terrorizing, assaulting, and breaking bones in a defensless toddler! Let's keep bending over backwards and attracting this kind of ilk to Worthington with free/reduced rent, welfare, foodbanks, free clothes ect. Correct me if I'm wrong, we need a license for our dogs, cats, to drive, to fish and hunt, but anyone with an IQ of a packing plant hard hat can have kids! Thank God the kids were taken away.
