York, Slaathaug win Wood Duck 5-K road race titles
FULDA — Slayton’s Mark York and Fulda’s Tina Slaathaug were the respective male and female winners of the Wood Duck 5-K road race Saturday morning. York, a cross country runner for Murray County Central, took an early lead in the 42-runner event and stretched the margin over the 3.1 mile distance, finishing 40 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor.
