First-graders read around the world
Bethany Dorschner, a student in Paula Krekelberg’s first-grade class, explores books about Vietnam while toting her homemade suitcase around “Asia.” Each grade at Prairie Elementary School decorated its common area like a different continent, displaying books about the continent and offering activities for students to take along on their global journey.
