Brief: ACRE program opens April 27
ST. PAUL — Minnesota producers may enroll in the Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) program beginning April 27 at their local Farm Service Agency. ACRE, a provision of the 2008 Farm Bill, is an alternative to the traditional Direct and Counter-cyclical Program (DCP).
