Letter: Marriage penalty in health care bills acknowledged
Martin Vaughan, writing in the Jan. 6 Wall Street Journal, described the marriage penalty in the health care bills as follows: “For scores of low-income and middle-income people, it could mean a hike of $2,000 or more in annual insurance premiums the moment they say, ‘I do.’”By: Allen Quist, R-St. Peter, Worthington Daily Globe
