It has been half-a-century since the Chicago & North Western Railroad quit rolling passenger trains from the Twin Cities through Mankato, Worthington, Sioux City and on to Omaha. In the peak years, Worthington was serviced by 16 passenger trains every day.By: Ray Crippen, Worthington Daily Globe
