Storm strikes portions of region
SANBORN, Iowa — An early Tuesday morning storm resulted in scattered damage throughout areas of northeast Iowa and southwest Minnesota. Harley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School almost had to cancel classes due to a 45-minute power outage Tuesday morning, said school secretary Lynette Soden.
