WHS BOYS' BASKETBALL: Weg’s double-double leads WHS over St. James, 85-43
WORTHINGTON — Scoring seven straight points within the initial minute and 33 seconds of the first half and then beginning the second half with 11 consecutive points in the opening 2:35 Saturday night, the top-seeded Worthington Trojans dominated from start to finish and claimed a huge 85-43 victory over the eighth-seeded St. James Saints in the quarterfinal round of the Section 3AA South high school boys’ basketball tournament.By: Lucas Knutson, Worthington Daily Globe
