Wilmont takes series with 11-5 win over Pipestone in Game 3

WILMONT — A tough-nosed pitching performance by Lucas Henning, stellar team defense and a five-run first inning — along with a trio of two-run frames — combined Sunday afternoon to lift the host Wilmont Cardinals to an 11-5 victory over the Pipestone A’s in the decisive third game of their state-qualifying Region 13C playoff series at Butts Probst Field.
