TROJAN BOYS BASKETBALL: Cardinals defeat Trojans

WORTHINGTON — Jumping out to an early 26-9 lead in the first half and later ripping off 19 consecutive points in an impressive stretch midway through the second half Friday night, the Redwood Valley Cardinals earned a 79-69 victory over the Worthington Trojans in a key Southwest Conference boys’ basketball game on ‘Meet the Trojans’ Night at Worthington High School.
