Bail lowered in alleged sex abuse case

WORTHINGTON — Judge Timothy Connell agreed to a request Wednesday to reduce the bail of Daniel Lee Valdez, lowering the amount from $50,000 to $30,000. Valdez, who thanked the judge after the bail amount was changed, has been in jail since the end of October.
