As 2013 festival ends, community learns it will host 2014 windsurfing championship

WORTHINGTON — The organizers of the Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival may have just wrapped up the 2013 festival, but they are already looking forward to next year when Worthington will host the US Windsurfing National Championships for a third time.

WORTHINGTON — Among the ranks of the many volunteers who help each year with the Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival, there are a few windsurfers — not a lot — but a few who occasionally test the wind and waters of Lake Okabena.
