Growing up near St. Kilian, the four Baumgartner brothers — sons of Andrew and Cecelia — played baseball for several years together for the Wilmont Cardinals. They were featured in a 1969 preview story about Wilmont’s trip to the state amateur tournament. Oldest to youngest (left to right) are Virg, Bob, Pat and Don.
