After winning a Minnesota state championship in fast-pitch softball Aug. 9, this team — representing Odin — won three out of five games at a national tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D. last week. Team members in the front row (left to right) are Curt Rogers, Nate McVenes, Louie Heller, Derek Nau, Dusty Pfeiffer and Andrew Rogers. In the back row (left to right) are Mike “Dodge” Haugen, John Hohenstein, Justin Davis, T.J. Tiesler, Doug Wolter, Ben Morrison and Kevin Rogers. Missing from this picture were Ike Rogers, Mitch Leopold, Mike Frodermann and Eric Fitzsimmons. The team, managed by Heller and Kevin Rogers, won three tournaments this summer and posted an overall 27-16-2 win-loss record.
