Honor Flight Southwest Minnesota participant Al Swanson, Worthington, is greeted and thanked for his service to the country by members of the public while visiting the World War II Memorial Saturday in Washington D.C. During their entire inaugural flight, southwest Minnesota veterans were treated like royalty, being warmly and enthusiastically greeted and thanked at all their stops in the Washington, D.C. area.
