Schiana Baumgartner, 8, of Worthington, has her bicycle inspected by Optimist Club member Steve Bassett during Saturday morning’s 30th annual Optimist Bike Safety clinic at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Worthington. The club, assisted by the Worthington Police Department, inspected, registered and licensed each bike for attending youths and also gave away 10 bicycles to lucky participants. The club had a similar program in Brewster the same morning.
