A tree that snapped during Friday afternoon’s rainstorm and tornado warning is shown in front of a South Shore Drive residence in Worthington. The home of Ethan and Leslie Bates, Leslie said Monday that the tree was in the place it had fallen Friday, and had narrowly missed a window to a room in which their baby was sleeping.
