A memorial for Amanda Connors sits outside the salon she managed Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, in Sioux Falls, S.D. Police say Connors was killed trying to protect an employee and her two children from Tyrone Smith who was upset about a domestic violence arrest and protection order. Smith was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
