Obituary: Margaret Harberts

Margaret K. Harberts, 77, of George, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Surviving are her husband, Orval; five children, Iva (George) Kurz, Nashville, Tenn., Jan Geigle, Sioux Falls, Myrna (Paul) Hotchkiss, Humboldt, S.D., Barb (Steve) Bentele, Sioux Falls, and Ordel (Melissa) Harberts, Rock Rapids, Iowa; three brothers, Edward Korthals, Buffalo, Frederick Korthals, Worthington, and Maurice Korthals, Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Henrietta Huenink, Steen, and Dorothy Sides, Friendsville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Jurrens Funeral Home, George.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Zoar Presbyterian Church, rural George, with the Rev. Dale Lint officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, George.
