Obituary: W. Ray Hansen

W. Ray Hansen, 86, of Luverne, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Sanford Luverne Hospital.

Surviving are his wife, LaVonne, Luverne; four children, Karen Hansen, Ames, Iowa, Eileen (Alon) Hemme, Hardwick, Rhonda (Paul) Jorgensen, Winner, S.D., and William (Nancy) Hansen, New Brighton; three siblings, Vernon (Dorothy) Hansen, Luverne, Lloyd Hansen, Boulder, Colo., and Marion Soehl, Colorado; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hartquist Funeral Home-Engebretson Chapel, Luverne.

The service will be at 10:30 Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church, Luverne, with the Rev. Terry Morse officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne.
