Obituary: Irene Jensen

Irene Jensen, 95, of Luverne, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at the Mary Jane Brown Home, Luverne.

Surviving are two sons, Jeff (Deanna) Jensen, Odessa, and Stephen (Charlene) Jensen, West Bend, Wis.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Dingmann Funeral Home, Luverne, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Luverne.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Luverne, with the Rev. Donn Rakow and Kristi Franken officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the United Methodist Parish Nurse Program; the Mary Jane Brown Home; or Compassionate Care Hospice.
