Obituary: Russell Becker

Russell G. Becker, 78, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home in Luverne, MN.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with the family present from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Darlene, Sioux Falls; two sons, Dale (Sue), Sioux Falls, Russell (Cheri), Maple Grove, MN; two daughters, Gail (Steve) Buysse, Maple Grove, MN, Debra Heikes, Worthington, MN; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Royce (Marlene) Becker, Ellsworth, MN, Linley (Lorraine) Becker, Luverne, MN; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
