Services: Robert Schmidt

Robert “Bob” Schmidt, 88, of Windom, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Sogge Memorial Good Samaritan Society, Windom.

Surviving are one son, Larry (Fran) Schmidt, Mindoro, Wis.; one daughter, Barbara (Kenneth) Hunter, Wilder; one sister, Dorothea (Wayne) Anderson, Bella Vista, Ark.; one brother, James Schmidt, Kenyon; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary service, at LaCanne Family Funeral Home, Windom, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Windom.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Windom, with the Rev. Andrew Olsem officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Windom.
