Obituary: Virginia Schroer

Virginia Schroer, 83, of Fulda, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home, Fulda.

Surviving are two sons, Rudy Schroer, Iona, and Loren (Carol) Schroer, Brewster; two sisters, Jylan Flood, Watertown, S.D., and Mary (Ted) Hunter, Minneapolis; one brother, J. Nick (Corrine) Demuth, Cold Spring; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today, with a parish rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Totzke Funeral Home, Slayton, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Columba Church, Iona.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Columba Church, Iona, with the Rev. Patrick Arens officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wilmont.
