William “Bill” Brands, 81, of Rock Valley, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at Rock Rapids Sanford Hospital.
William “Bill” Brands, 81, of Rock Valley, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at Rock Rapids Sanford Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Effie; two sons, Don (Helen) Brands, Worthington, and Bob (Wanda) Brands, Boyden, Iowa; two daughters, Donna (Dave) Roghair, Sioux Center, Iowa, and Lori (Russell) Gradert, Hawarden, Iowa; two brothers, Melvin Brands, Sheldon, Iowa, and Albert (Alice) Brands, Mesa, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Reformed Church, Rock Valley. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
