Helen June Obermoller, age 81, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at her residence.
Helen June Obermoller, age 81, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at her residence.
Helen was born June 28, 1927 in Rushmore, MN, the daughter of Henry and Dorothea(Hinz) Lindemann. She was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church
in Rushmore. After high School Helen attended college and received her
teaching certificate and taught in rural schools in Rushmore, MN. On
June 19, 1949, she and Stanley Obermoller were united in marriage in Rushmore, MN. They lived in the Brewster and Hardwick, MN areas until moving to Sioux Falls in 1989 where she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Zion LWML.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 daughters, Patricia Allison and one in infancy, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Falls, 4 sisters-in-law, Lisa Lindemann, Sioux Falls, Lorraine Lindemann, Maplewood, MN, Linda Lindemann, Worthington, MN, Vera Roberts, Sioux Falls; 1 brother-in-law, Alvin Obermoller; 1 son-in-law, Ronald Allison; 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 at
Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation with the family present will be Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Her online obituary and register book can be viewed at www.consolingmemories.com.
