Elmer W. Schafer, 77, of Lakefield, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Lakefield.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Hansen-Osterberg Funeral Home, Lakefield, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hunter Township.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Bart Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Minneota Township, Jackson County.
