Gertrude “Trudy” Lillian Sorenson, 82, of Slayton, died Friday, March 27, 2009, at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
Gertrude “Trudy” Lillian Sorenson, 82, of Slayton, died Friday, March 27, 2009, at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
Surviving are four daughters, Pat (Norman) Brown, Medford, Myra (Daniel) Willemin, Murfreesboro, Tenn., Marcia (Jerry) Carrier, Indianapolis, Ind., and Jean (Chris) Heinly, Wyomissing, Pa.; one brother, Bill Van Dyke, Edgerton; two sisters, Margaret Vis and Alice De Kam, both of Edgerton; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Totzke Funeral Home, Slayton, and 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church, Slayton.
The service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church, Slayton. Burial will be in the Fort Snelling Na-tional Cemetery, Minneapolis.
