Fern Ulaine Staples, 80, of Slayton, died Monday, March 30, 2009, at her daughter’s home in Slayton.
Surviving are her husband, Don Staples, Slayton; two daughters, Lori (Doug) Saville, Slayton, and Susan (Sam) Hage, Mankato; two sisters, Shirla (Wendell) Kuhl, Reading, and Twyla (Marlyn) Heikes, Lexington, Ky.; two brothers, Darrell (Teriko) Dysthe, Oxnard, Calif., and Bruce (Patrica) Dysthe, Bea-ver Creek; and five grand-children.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Meth-odist Church, Slayton.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Slayton, with the Rev. Jon Marburger officiating. Burial will be in Slayton Memorial Gardens.
Totzke Funeral Home, Slay-ton, is in charge of arrange-ments.
