Obituary: Larry Ossenfort

Larry “Ozzie” Ossenfort, 63, of rural Kenneth, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, in rural Kenneth.

Larry “Ozzie” Ossenfort, 63, of rural Kenneth, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, in rural Kenneth.

Surviving are his wife, Marcia; three children, Mark (Mari) Ossenfort, Sioux Falls, S.D., Kristine Nathe, Alexandria, and Nathan (Lesli) Ossenfort, Buena Vista, Ark.; three stepchildren, Shannon (Sue) Schutz, Sleepy Eye, Angie (Jim) Evans, Croton, Ohio, and Jason (April) Schutz, Sleepy Eye; 13 siblings, Loren (Grace) Ossenfort, Luverne, David (Linda) Ossenfort, Grandville, Mich., Donald (Barb) Ossenfort, Rapid City, S.D., Lois (Norman) Nath, Luverne, Carol (Virgil) Oltmann, Apple Valley, Alice (Ron) Hansen, Hardwick, Linda (Gene) Molden, St. Cloud, Roger (Dianne) Ossenfort, Luverne, Judy (Mike) Reis, Columbus, Ga., Deb (Roger) Gehrke, Beaver Creek, Dennis (Diane) Ossenfort, Worthington, Brenda (Keith) Staeffler, Valley Springs, S.D., and Kathy (Keith) Scholten, Valley Springs, S.D.; three grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at St. Catherine’s Church, Luverne.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. today at St. Catherine’s Church, Luverne, with the Rev. Thomas Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne.

Hartquist Funeral Home, Engebretson Chapel, Luverne, is in charge of arrangements.
