Marlin H. Mitchell, 65, of rural Rushmore, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at his home.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Mitchell; two children, Gregory (Jody) Mitchell, Fairmont, and Debra (Rick) Nelsen, Fulda; three step-children, Shawn (Tammy) Wittry, Sioux Falls, S.D., Bobbi (Myron) Ruesch, Marshall, and Nicki (Jason) Platt, Lake Wilson; six siblings, Edith (Bill) Packard, Wyoming, Bonnie (Clayton) Berg, Ogilvie, Genevieve (Richard) Lundberg, Ogilvie, Lowell (Myrtle) Mitchell, Princeton, Dennis (Peggy) Mitchell, Apple Valley, and June (Gary) Marana, Duluth; five grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, at Dingmann Funeral Home, Worthington; and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Wilmont.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Wilmont, with the Rev. Timothy Hall officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Wilmont.
