Surviving are his wife, Shirley; seven children, Sandi Laudon, Rochelle, Ill.; Pat (Angie) Foerster, Luverne; Mike (Kathy) Foerster, Winona; Diane (Lowell) Jauert, Luverne; Chuck (Diane) Foerster, La Crescent; Joe (Jody) Foerster, Cambridge; Sue Weber, Alexandria; a stepson, Kevin (Diane) Van Dyke, West Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, Art (Rosie) Forester, Lincoln, Neb.; three sisters, Marcella (Eddie) Craze, Sun Lake, Ariz.; Marianne DeMers, Rapid City, S.D.; Bea Foerster, Orient, S.D.; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. today at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Luverne, with the Rev. Thomas Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Luverne.

Hartquist Funeral Home, Engebretson Chapel, Luverne, is in charge of the arrangements.
