Arlette H. Swanson, 84, of Lakefield, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Jackson Good Samaritan Center, Jackson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Osterberg-Hansen Funeral Home, Lakefield, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hunter Township, Jackson County.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hunter Township, Jackson County, with the Rev. Bart Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Lakefield City Cemetery, Lakefield.

To all of Arlette's family - I want all of you to know what a good friend Arlette was to my sister, Carol Johannsen, at Valley View. I appreciated that so much. They were like two peas in a pod and both enjoyed each others company whether they were visiting or just enjoying TV together. I was to see my sister this past week, and she told me that Arlette was not doing very well, and that she really missed her. I am sure Arlette's passing will be very hard on her.
