Viola Holmes, 100, of Windom and formerly of Mountain Lake, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society, The Village, Mountain Lake.
Viola Holmes, 100, of Windom and formerly of Mountain Lake, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society, The Village, Mountain Lake.
Surviving are four children, Lyman (Pattie) Holmes, Windom, Dorothy Schaffer, Lake Crystal, Irene Koenekamp, Vadnais Heights and Shirley (Roger) Otto, Rosemount; one sister, Winniefred Quiring, Mountain Lake; one brother, Edward (Edna) Kliewer, Windom; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. today at Evangelical Free Church, Windom, with the Rev. David Lightner officiating. A private family burial will precede the service in Mountain Lake Cemetery.
LaCanne Family Funeral Service, Windom, is handling the arrangements.
