Obituary: Peggy Kahle-Myers

Peggy Kahle-Myers, the daughter of Maria (Oberloh) and Fredrich Kahle, was born September 28th, 1950 in Murray County.

Peggy Kahle-Myers, the daughter of Maria (Oberloh) and Fredrich Kahle, was born September 28th, 1950 in Murray County. Peggy graduated from Fulda High School. She received her Bachelor of English and German Degree from the University of MN, Morris. She earned a Masters Vocational Rehab Counseling Degree from Mankato State. Peggy taught 11th grade English and German for several years before becoming a Vocational Rehab Counselor. Peggy was united in marriage to her soul mate, Arthur Myers on September 6th, 1980. Peggy enjoyed taking care of their home, gardening and loving their pets. She had a vivacious love of nature, animals and the environment.

Peggy died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at the Sunset Cottage, Worthington.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Arthur Myers of Worthington, MN; her sister, Marjorie (Arvin) Hadler of Goodhue, MN; her sister-in-law, Linda (James) Johnson of Bigelow, MN; 7 nieces, 5 nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Her parents preceded her in death.

A private family service will held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Benson Funeral Home Chapel in Worthington.

Benson Funeral Home is coordinating the arrangements.
