Obituary: William Rieckhoff

William F “Bill” Rieckhoff age 69, retired realtor, Edina, MN, passed away August 1st from Leukemia. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy; sons Bill Jr. (Robyn) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Bob of Worthington, MN; daughter Susan of St. Louis Park, MN; grandchildren Sydney and Carter Rieckhoff; brother Jim (Sidney) of Elkhart, IN; mother-in-law Nora Kittendorf of Edina; nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation: 5-8 PM Tuesday, August 7th at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St at Hwy 100 in Edina, MN. Memorial Service: 10 AM Wednesday, August 8th at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd in Edina, MN. With his wife and brother, Bill established the Worthington Holiday Inn Express Hotel in 1999 and the Ground Round Restaurant in 2003. Bill had many friends in the Worthington community and the family wishes to thank them for their support of Bill through his illness and their expressions of sympathy.
