Dennis Arthur Martens was born on March 22, 1946 in Sioux Falls, SD. He passed away at the age of 66 in Bullhead City, Arizona., on August 3, 2012. He was a teacher for 30 years in Worthington, MN before he retired. He was a member of Worthington Elks Lodge.

Dennis is survived by his wife Claudia J. Martens of Bullhead City, AZ., sister; LuAnn (John) Fletcher of Madison, WI; sister-in-law; Anne (Lowell) Kutzbach of Valrico, FL; father-in-law; Kenneth J. Thompson of Worthington, MN.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur H. and Edna G. (Storevik) Martens; mother-in-law; Helen M. Thompson.
Memorials may be sent to Worthington Middle School (Science department) or Worthington Trojan Football Team.
