Marvin Bruxvoort of Edmond, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Nov. 1, 2012.
Marvin was born in Chandler, MN to Malis & Gerti Bruxvoort. In March of 1951, he joined the Army and was stationed at Fort Hood, TX. He was honorably discharged with a rank of Corporal in March of 1953. On Dec. 28, 1951, Marvin married Rosella Beatrice Beers. Marvin worked for the Worthington, MN Independent School District as a Custodial Engineer. He was medically retired in 1985. Shortly thereafter, he and his wife moved from Worthington to Edmond, OK to be closer to their children. Marvin was an active member of his church, Spring Creek Assembly, and served in numerous lay capacities.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife Rosella; their 4 children, Marlin, Brenda, Kelly & Andrew; and their 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Spring Creek Assembly of God with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery. Under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
