Roger Sixta, 74, of Ocheyedan, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Osceola Community Hospital, Sibley, Iowa.

Roger Sixta, 74, of Ocheyedan, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Osceola Community Hospital, Sibley, Iowa.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Andringa Funeral Chapel, Ocheyedan.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Horton Township, Ocheyedan, with the Rev. Russell Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Ocheyedan Township Cemetery.

My deepest condolences to Lois and the boys upon the loss of Roger. He was a gental giant. I will never forget all of the trips to St.Paul and Huron SD. in Kluevers old International semi, hauling hogs. Roger will be missed by all who knew him. Richard Young Springfield,Oregon
